Exactly! All of my friends say that he's evil and should have died , but he is cool, and so nice to Merry and Pippin. I think thats what endeared me to him in the first place. I like him better than most of the fellowship anyway. (Yes, i know Merry and Pippin are funny, and Legolas is fit and Aragorn is gorgeous, but Mirkgirl is right) Give the guy his dues!

Boromir is just very human , he deeply regrets for trying to get the ring from Frodo...If he was evil, he would not have repented himself. And he is sweet to Merry and Pippin...He was hopeless and had to regain hope, he found all this with the fellowship so I believe he was brave..and a hero too :grin:

Just been watching Fotr. for some strange reason *cough*Boromir*cough* I noticed that just before he gets hit by the third arrow, the horn of Gondor is intact. But then a soon as he is hit for the third time, the horn is cloven in half and just hanging together. Has anyone else noticed? You definately don't see it get broken by an Uruk-Hai. Seriously, one minute it is solid, the next its in two pieces

LOved Sean Bean as Boromir. Absoutely perfect. Thought his was one of the best performances in the whole thing. Absolutely brilliant.. I actually came out wondering what he would've Bean (hehehehe) like as Aragorn. Maybe not Aragorn's face but he portrays a noble man powerfully. His death scene was one of the most emotional performances I've ever seen I was nearly mecry watching it, and I don't normally do that, AND I knew it was going to happen. :thumbs: to Beanie and the rest of cast and crew involved in that scene for getting that response from me.

I would love to see him play Macbeth.
