you need to get a starter deck...then it has instructions and all the stuff you need to play except the little gem things...i suggest you get a Realms of the Elf Lords deck if you want a half way decent deck

I know how to play! Almost... but the game is SO much fun.
Yeah you need a starter deck, Realm of the Elf Lords is good, I have the Legolas deck and It's A good deck but chose what ever you want.

I highly suggest getting an Aragorn Starter and another one of your choice. Then you get Aragorn, Sam (vital if Frodo gets killed), 2 other promo cards, and 6 rares instead of 3. Buying 2 decks and builing one strong deck out of them is the way to go!
P.S. No deck is complete unless it has Sam. Sam is the only one who can bear the Ring if Frodo is killed.

if you want to play the game, you should try to keep your deck under 120 cards...i would agree that the aragorn deck is good b/c of the uruks...about sam, he is useful if frodo gets killed, but in all my games w/ sam in my deck, he hasn't usually lived through site 6...plus, i have only used sam once to hold the ring, and when i did that, i killed frodo on purpose lol

You should always have an Aragorn in your deck, from my experience, as well as pumps for him (like Ranger sword, Armor, flaming brand, etc.) I don't know about anyone else, but I've never had Frodo die, so Sam isn't really necessary I do use him, though. The best sam is Proper poet, ihmo, as he can exert to become defender +! and take two minions on at once. He dies, sure, but you use that strategy when you only have, say, three companions out, and your opponent just played four minions. Having a big fellowship has it's advantages and disadvantages, obviously. If you plan on using a big fellowship, I suggest putting out two companions max per turn, as anything more will add so much twilight that your opponent will work you over.
A couple goos allies to play if you're running Legolas in your deck are Orophin and Rumil.
Hope that helps. :)
