Dragon Sword

Hi everyone,

Need some help from all of you. I've got a design I really like for a dragon theme sword, but I'm having trouble deciding on a few coloration aspects. I've made three versions - each with a different combination of hilt leather (handle) and pommel (round part at base of sword) colors. So if you could vote for your favorite, I'd appreciate it!

The first one. I've always asociated green with the dragon and do to me that is most effective as it stands out from the rest of the sword.

Hey those are really nice! I really like the wing design! I agree, I like #1 also.

I really like the design...but may I be so bold as to offer another color combination? Perhaps...red pommel with black hilt leather? That particular combination screams DRAGON to me...lol...red representing fire (or the way I've always pictured a dragon's eyes) and the black hilt just because I love the look in general...with a thin strip of green wrapped around it, perhaps...for decoration and extra grip?

Thanks for the votes so far all! I was also leaning towards the black leather green gem combo, but some folks had been liking the blue/red and I didn't really mind the green leather....

Thought about red and black, but my dragon profiles tend to be based on a very snaky approach, (following Tolkien's descriptions of "worms" ect...) rather than a spiky "Saint George and the dragon" look. So I thought green and black would enhance the "wormish" aspects. Also red does sort of blend to much with the metal colors. But thanks for the suggestion.
