Do I need to do anything special since i've already subscribed? (but I think it's been over a year now..) I note that I'm still on the subscribers email list and all that, and I'm already getting it twice....lol sent to Tar-Vanimelde and TariVanimelde.....when I resubscribe, will I get 3 emails each time? :p

No ma'am!
The mailings that you recieved were for 1. The Red Arrow, and 2. The Subscriber's Newsletter. Neither of these were you automatically signed up for. You would have had to manually requested to recieve them. So, no...by resubscribing, you would not get an additional newletter. hehe
If you do not want to upgrade your subscription to Gold, then no, you do not have to do a thing. We'd like to of course covert all of our existing Silver subscribers over into the new system managed here within VB, but that is not possible.
You can however, cancel your existing subscription in Paypal, and resubscribe under the new system if you like, but it's defo not required. If you did want to upgrade to Gold, then yes, the procedure would be either for you or I to cancel the existing subscription, and then you would sign up under whichever Gold plan you desire.
Hope this helped!
Oh....I'm getting ready to send a Community Forum newletter too, so there's your number three! :p lol

lol.....Well I try to be at least! :p
Well....the easiest thing would be to sign you right up! You can use your new plastic for sending money through Paypal, you just have to get yourself a Paypal account and validate your card as your funding source. It takes a few days to pull that off, but easy peasy!
I've only set up the program to handle Paypal at the moment, but may setting up other services to handle credit cards as well.
Good question!

Hey ya Vani!
I received notification of your new subscription!
Processing plastic is a new option with Paypal, so we can update our documentation, was this a fairly smooth transaction?
Oh....and you should be receiving a confirmation email from me shortly in regards to your Gold plan which will have all the instructions on how to access your new WotR email account, etc.
Thank you for your support!

Well....guess what Vani?
You can't.
I made an assumption when I put together the confirmation letter that you would be able to, and I just went through every single option area, and it is not possible. I will need to to change the letter to state that, and that if you'd like to have your password changed to please use our new Support System, and I will change it to whatever you desire. :p
In fact...if you don't think you will remember it (which means that you don't save important things like confirmation letters. tsk tsk ;)), then how would you like to be the first person to access our new system, and open a ticket for me to change it for you hmmmm?
This area is secure and I will be the only person accessing it, so if you would be so kind as to go here (http://support.monstersandcritics.com/index.php?group=wotr), and send me a request, I will change your pass to whatever you would like.
Ummm...the knowledge base, downloads, etc. are not populated yet, but the Contact area works. ;)
Give it a go and let me know what you think!

heehee, I made the proirity "urgent" just cause it's early in the morning, don't mind that ;) I also sent it to "WotR Support", was that right? and piffle on you, I DO keep confirmation letters, I just don't wanna go sorting through my other email every time I want to check that email :p so there! ;)
and hey, I feel better not being able to find it in the options myself lol

Well...I got the support ticket request, and yes...you did exactly the right thing.
I emailed you to let you know about the password change, and also flagged the ticket as completed.
One more question. Did you get an email response from the system when I flagged that ticket? Thanks.
Tar-Vanimelde

Well...at the moment, and I'm not sure why, but it looks like Fatty has whacked the news artitcles everywhere! :o lol
Anyway....that article actually just explains it a little bit and then points you back to the "Paid Subscriptions" area in your UserCP, and you can get there directly by following this link here (http://www.warofthering.net/forums/vbulletin225/upload/subscriptions.php?).
Thanks for your interest, and please let me know if you have any questions at all!
