Is it ever going to happen?

I read an article recently that said that it is unlikely that "The Hobbit" will be made...or at least, that it is unlikely that PJ will direct it. For a while, it sounded like PJ and Ian Mckellen were both so interested! Does anyone know what's hapenning?

I personally have no idea. I've heard a lot of rumours... One minute they're doing it for sure, the next they don't have the rights, blah blah blah... It'll probably get made somewhere down the road... Just probably not with PJ or McKellan or anybody from Lord of the Rings.

Chances look bleek right now. Unless a miracle happens I doubt PJ will direct it.:(

I know...it really wouldn't be the same. But I guess we'd have to hope that it would be better...hmmm...
