This story - this fan fic - has changed my entire perspective of how dangerous the wound at weathertop was to Frodo. Nothing could have explained it better. The details and the way the characters are written just to Tolkien's perspective are overwhelming. Of any fanfic I have read (I have read MANY) I would give this one my best rating. Although it is 28 pages long to print, I thought it was worth my paper to print it out and read it in my bed.

Please read this if you have always wanted to know more about the healing of Elrond, and exactly what he did to heal Frodo. If you wanted to know anything about what happened between the ending of 'The Flight to the Ford' and 'Many Meetings' you had better read this.

Rated PG-13 for medical details and high angst.

If you don't like the thought of blood don't read it lol But I think the details is what makes it so real. But then again, its no different from what Tolkien what have said, I'll warrant.

What did you think? (May take an hour to read)

Wow.

I finally got through all of that I can honestly say it was very well done indeed. I'm familiar with the author's other writings from Imladris, and I understand she specializes in angst.

Very nice, and very sad.

Imladris sort of died.... but all the members have gone to a new forum at www.council-of-elrond.com/forums. (Am I allowed to do that mods?) And all of them are just re-starting everything so I doubt she has any stories yet, just keep an eye on the Harem (Frodo's thread) in Fandom, she and others just as good usually post excellent fanfics. :)
