This is a hard one for me but anything from Drive or Saving Private Ryan is pretty cool. Can' think of anything else right now but say what you think

My newest favorite action sequence is from AOTC. The big battle at the end with all the machines and giant ships! There is so much stuff happening in that one sequence that you can't possibly see it all even after multipul viewings.
I have a lot of other forvorites too, I just can't think of them all right now.

Most people I know that watched the movie didn't like that scene or the movie in General I'm not much into Star wars only seen Episode one but anyways my favorite action thingy has to be from the Matrix when they're at the military compound and all the guns and the killing and when he fights the agent so cool! (sorry but I love the matrix ok)

Anything Star Wars! :)
Yoda dueling Count Dokku was absolutely amazing.
Yet I'm sure there will be some pretty spectacular battle sequences in the next two LOTR films. :battle:

Yeah, I think there will be too.
I honestly think Helm's Deep might be the largest battle ever seen on screen...

I agree about the Matrix shootout. That's gotta be one of the coolest fights ever

I honestly think Helm's Deep will be the largest battle seen on screen.
You may be right, Orky. :)
After all, it is going to be an un-interrupted 45 minute sequence. :battle:

Oh I forgot about Helm's Deep. I think that'll be number one. The only other really long action sequence I can think of is Pearl Harbour but I haven't seen that so I don't really care.

I was going to see Pearl Harbor, but then I heard one two many people describe it as "Titanic with planes."
So I stayed as far away as I possibly could. ^^

I saw Pearl Harbor on PPV. It was Ok, they could have gone without the pridictable love triangle though!
I thought the action scenes were some of the best. Really good FX!! It looked real!

"Titanic with planes" is how I would describe it although like wilwarin said the fx were good but otherwise a big snooze fest in my opinion sorry to all those who liked Peal Harbor

A chase scene is a chase scene is a chase scene. Unless there is something new and different about it. That is what I liked about the movie Speed. I've also been eternally impressed by the opening scene in Raiders of the lost Ark. And that second Indy movie, where they were roller coaster riding a mining car.

Ah yes, the mine cart ride. That was the coolest thing about Temple of Doom (and incidentally, the only thing I really liked about it...)

Your right. It's hard to remember hardly anything else about it, except maybe Kate Capshaw. I didn't even remember the name.

Well action sequence wise, i would say the last part of Jaws as the boat sinks, Roy aims, fires, misses, fires "Blowup!" misses, fires "Blow up", misses. Aims" Smile you son of a *****!" Fires, BOOM!
And you gotta love Weathertop when Aragon gets down and dirty with the fire. And when Aragon turns and all the Uruk-Hai surround him.

Yeah that is a great shot, the one with Aragorn and the Uruk Hai.

They're all great. I love the star wars fights, especially the triple lightsaber fight in the phantom menace.

Ooooo, I have to agree with Black Hawk Down. Great all the way thru, plus even I, of the untouchable heart, was quite stirred by the mile run at the end back to the stadium. What a sap I am.
