Well guys and dolls...Steve and Nessa has created a new Photo Forum section , it's within Members Arts and the subtitle is Applied Art (http://www.warofthering.net/photoforum/showgallery.php?cat=3022) ...it's all there for us people showing off our costumes, armoury and other creations, whatever they may be! :cool:
So please post your piccies in that category and save poor Steve from moving them around...needless to say it's ofcourse much easier to find them if they are in the right place, but a move also results in that links within posts have to be fixed so it would be such a big help if we could all be a wee bit more organized! :grin:
Here's a simple 8-step-how-to instruction for those who want to add piccies to a post and don't know how!
1. Pick post reply instead of quick reply, or go advanced, so you get all the nice formatting-options.
2. Place your marker within the post where you want the piccie to appear.
3. Open the photoforum, or the site where your image is uploaded, in a new window. (Rightclick on the photoforum-icon on the top vertical navbar of this site, or the addy of the site of you're piccies home-->open in new window.)
4. Open the image, (not to be mistaken for the thumbnail, or it will be tiny!), rightclick-->properties.
5. Highlight the complete URL, (www://http...blablablathisisnotarealurl), rightclick-->copy.
6. Close the image and the new window.
7. Back within your new post, click on the "add-image"- icon above the textbox, (little yellow-ish square.)
8. Position marker in the textbox that appears, rightclick-->paste-->ok.
And voila! You're done!
