Oh dearest GD I have come to answer your call!! Irish Dance thread! haha How great! Yes I'm a Irish Dancer(and proud of it ;) ). Yes I've seen those solo dresses before and wow are they beautiful. When I get a dress I want it to be just like that. haha Eowyn of Rohan to answer your question the dresses are made by a dress maker who makes them for IDing competitions. Once you get to a certain level of dancing in competition you can get what are called solo dresses. But I don't even want to think of how much those wonderful dresses cost. Probably somewhere in the $800s or 900s! But gosh they are worth it!
There seems to be many Lord of the Dance fans here. Which is great but I personally like Riverdance a lot a lot. Has anyone had a chance to go see either of the shows live? Sadly I haven't had a chance yet. I'm wait for the RD to come back here and then cross my fingers hoping I can go. :)

Cuiel i love those two as well!!!and yes, live its awesome!i only attended a small show but it was soo awesome that i had to go to see it twice!it had live music and singing too...but this happened in Ireland cos here we only get Lord of the Dance and not so often...and just like Lady Nenya im more of a Riverdance fan...well, we "met" some 3 years ago online cos we are both Riverbuddies!and then ended up as hopeless Ringers too, right?!lol
