Greetings folks--
I thought, not seeing posts/threads in this section for while, that perhaps a look at Games Workshop at Ringbearers Day 2005 would hopefully get some discussion going. Ringbearers Day 2005 is New Yorks 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Lord of the Rings, hosted by my organization, The NY Tolkien Society, banners and links can be found all about WOTR.net with many thanks to Illuvatar, Eledhwen and Fatty!!!
Anyhoo--Games Workshop will be there, and from our discussions with them, as secretive as they might be, I know that there is a HUGE chance (hehehe well I know more than that) that the new expansion to their LOTR line will be premiered at RBD 2005, (now this is not official so please don't spread it around just yet :shhh: )
The new expansion is The Scouring of the Shire, and I have seen the specs to it, and the models of Lobelia, Fredegar, Shirriffs, Sharkey and more are just fantastic----there is also a chance we will get to see the next expansion, the Battle of the Five Armies there as well--so if you want to see the best cohesion of Tolkien's tales and gaming on the planet, then you dont want to miss Ringbearers Day 2005
In Fellowship,
Anthony
