This is the first time I have ever posted anything I have drawn/painted...so I am a tad bit nervous! :blush: Most of these arent finished or arent more than rough sketches, but I would sincerely appreciate any comments! Hopefully I will add a few more accomplished ones eventually too :angel:

Some are just pencil or ink, two are in watercolors/acrylics :grin:

Wow! I really like those! I rotated your Elves and horses picture around in the Photo Forum so that I didn't have to stand on my head to see it hehe. My favourite is the Elven Princess with stars in her hair, she is very pretty!

Could I ask a silly question? what exactly is acrylics? I've heard the term used several times but I don't know what it is.

Thank you so much Nessa for rotating those pics! notworthy I saw they were sideways when I put them up & I :trout:ed myself!

Acrylics are the medium that I used to do the ship painting. They are a water-soluable paint that are somewhat like a mix between oils and watercolors..they dry a lot quicker than oils!!! :grin:

Love the ship acrylic -- radiance of starlit sea but still simple, spare -- really lovely. Your pencil sketches are dynamite :thumbs: (oh, no -- lined paper :o. Stick to good stuff -- your talent derserves it! :) )

I am not totally thrilled w/ the way this one turned out, and it didnt scan well...the detail and metallics didnt really come through...but its all a learning process, and Ill hopefully have some better offerings soon ;)
