Trust me, every single day is a bad, no wait, AWFUL hair day. Just imagine Frodo's mangled pile but think worse, and maybe a bit less :)

My worst hair expierience (among so many.....):
I had a formal dinner to go to at the fanciest restaurant around, it was my friend's sixteenth birthday and she decided to go all out. So I scheduled an appoitment to have my hair washed and very simply styled, I arrived at the salon to discover that I had made the appointment the next week! :o :o :o
So I went home, didn't even have time to take a shower! So I threw mousse in my hair and called it "edgy." The limo driver turned out to be excellent looking, on top of everything else. *sigh* At least I could laugh about it with my friends..... still do sometimes. lol
Ringbearer! You mean to tell me that you have Frodo's gorgeous raven curls???? :o And you're complaining???

Well Nessa I don't really have Frodo's hair but usually (as in always) it normally looks like it but my hair really is too short for that, but still quite long. I hate it long though cause it doesn't grow down it just builds up on top and my head gets really hot and scruffy  lol

I know better then all that the water stops, when you decide to wash in the morning - I washed it finally but it was an awful experience
And chemistry and/or hair accessories can do any girl's bad hair day to a normal day (I stick to water&shampoo myself tho)

I went through this HUUUUUGE phase of wanting dead straight hair. I bought straightening irons, straightening shampoo, straightening conditioner, straightening mousse, straightening serum...the list was endless...and NONE o it worked. I ended up tuning my hair into a frizzy blob, damaged from the irons and too much hair stuff.
So i bought a bottle of the shampoo that rids your hair of all the styling mess...washed my hair, and applied a small amount of pantene curling mousse. THE CHANGE WAS AMAZING! We were going with the school on a residential trip to france. I remember turning up on the coach and people just attacked my hair. All people want to do is touch it! Bonos-girl finds endless hours of entertainment separating the curls...it's so sweet! :)
I have learned to love my curls! Anyone else with curly hair DYING to go straight...DON'T! :nono: All the celebs are going for curls and waves...and arwen and eowyn have wavy/curlyish hair too!
 to curls...

Well.. I don't know about a bad hair day.. but once I spent LOTS of money colouring my hair, and you couldn't tell the difference! I have sort of middle brown hair naturally, and I chose a different, a bit darker, brownish colour.. but when it was in my hair you really couldn't see it. It looked exactly the same. That was a waste of money!
Of course.. you learn from your mistakes. :)

I wanted my hair restyled and went to have it done, but when I came out it was pretty much the same cept a bit shorter.
But otherwise long straight hair that goes slighty wavy after it's been washed, not too much to complain about it and never had a really bad hair day. :) Unless it's been washed I go out and get caught in the rain. urghhhhhh!

:jester: Though it may look funny a man has a bad hairday, i had mine in bundles, as (years ago) i was a hairdressers male-model, and one contest was about a fantasy-style. ;) My friend had colored my hair in such a way that it was deep mahogany in the front and went to carot-orange in my neck. Underneath the toplayer it was all pure orangy-orange tho. With this funny hair i had to go and try to get a new job ( as a teacher). I still wonder why i got the job, cause in front of the complete schoolboard my perfect hairdo split all along the middle from front to back:  Imagine what I must have looked like. I used to have endless bad hairdays, until I accepted the hair I'm equipped with and cut it short! I've tried numerous hairdos, but they just don't work if I work against the nature of it. Gets boring every once in a while, but after tring to change it, I'm always happier when I let it have its will again. Curls can be hell or bliss, depending on what you expect of them!
And all those thingies to put into it...makes me scratch so much someone might wonder whats up there...!
Pil
November 2nd,2002, 07:41 PM
Curls! I'm back to hating them! I blowdryed my hair supposedly straight this morning...then it rained...and the hair went curly again...why?!! Why can't it be normal and straight?! :(

I have thin, waved but very long hair so for me each morning it is a fight with my hairbrush and my mirror...most of the time they win over me lol So I have to put up my hair in a bun since I work in a big commercial law firm so the look is important
I have recently dyed my hair auburn...well more red than auburn..it fits me well as people say, when lawyers tell you a compliment it must be true...because they never do :p So I think I will keep this color for a while...

I had my hair dyed med. caramel awhile back, need it done again (my roots are showing). Looked really cool. I too have curly hair, actually it's between wavy and curly. Pretty much thou unless I'm going somewhere, I don't worry about fixing it up. I usually wear it in a ponytail.:)

I have the thickest head of hair!! And It's shoulder length so I can hardly do anything with it, though I don't really have bad hair days If I don't blowdry it after a shower it looks horrid!! But its kinda straigt and I plan to grow it out, and if that does work, well, it's hair, if you mess up just start over again. I would love to have waist length Aburn hair, that leans mostly towards red.

bad hair day huh? well i have naturally curly hair so..umm EVERYDAY!! no wait seriously..let me think *-thinks-*
well when i was little a person in church gave me a peice of gum to make me shut up, so i of course took it and then after chewing it took it out of my mouth and began to mold little things out of it (artistic abilites forming! but alas they are gone now). I must of been humming to myself because an old lady turned around and and popped me on the hands to be quiet. Well instincts..my hands squished together, with the gum in them. STUPID me, a minute later i scratched my head! So i got gum stuck all in my hair and it spread because i freaked out and started crying. My mom took me to the bathroom and calmed me down and then later we cut it out, fortunantly it wasnt that bad. It gets worse...
Later that day i was eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich when hmmm..well...im not quite sure HOW but it ended up on my head and when my mom asked what i was doing, i think i responded it was my new hat or something. SOOO then she took me inside and let me tell you Peanut butter is NOT easy to get out of waist length curly hair. Needlesstosay my hair is to my chin now and i straighten it regulary (though i dont know what i'd do without my curls)...i have yet to get over my trauma

You should try to comb out a scraggy hairdo for a pantomime witch every time you do a peformance. We did 10 shows and it took me half an hour each time to get my hair untangled. Noone else could touch it as I was the only one who did yank it so half the roots came out.

despite the myth that curly hair is wonderful, try waking up and every single strand of your hair is literally tied in knots to another. Miracle and blessings are hair piks! So simple it you need a quick run through, but only if your hair is wet! My worse hair day, the day the neurosurgeon shaved up the side of my french braid and left it to develop into a clump!! Actually, any of the times the Dr. saw fit to shave my head. Oh well, it's growing back simply wonderful and it's no shame to have man made bald spots!!

I have to put lotions and creams on it, just to keep it semi managable. No majic spell I have found can keep this mop undercontrol for longverymad .
