Who do you love to hate?

Just been thinking about who everyone loves so how about who everyone hates, but loves to do so *TRB pause in confusion*. lol

err.... uhh.... I do not like to use the word hate towards people... but there is someone I love to dislike. At school last year, I had a stalker and he wouldn't leave me alone. So I got him suspended 7 times.... and now I will 'very very very strongly dislike' him for all eternity. But I don't think I hate anyone.

If so, I love hating Celeborn. And the One Scene-Stealer, Legolas. I usually don't make fun of him directly, but I loooove seeing other people hate him. :thumbs: lol

I love to hate on Boromir! I call him "Master Pin-Cushion". He's just so arrogant. I didn't even like him when I first read the book! I love his oh-so-arrogant line "Gondor has no king; Gondor NEEDS no king." Not in the book, but a terribly clever line.

And how can you call his last lines arrogant?

If you've read the books you know that he's been raised to think like that: Gondor needs Stewards only, and that's been the history of Gondor. It started with Arvedui and didn't stop at Boromir; how can you blame him?

I don't. I really like Boromir. He's strong and he's a good fighter. (hint hint). Plus, he puts up with Aragorn even though Aragorn is really kind of mean to Boromir--that whole business of give the ring to frodo! and then Aragorn acts like boromir was going to engage in some phisycal duel!

Anyway, I know we're talking about hating people but I couldn't resist defending Boromir.

Well, that was MOVIE Aragorn who said "Give the Ring to Frodo." I didn't even like book Boromir, so naturally I wouldn't like an even more arrogant movie Boromir. But yes, you have a point about his rearing. But one must give him credit...he was very brave at the end.

So completely true about celeborn I'd ahve to disagree with that second part though I especially think Aragorn and Legolas really have everything down but IU really strongly dislike both celeborn and haldir (i think I've already mentioned this) and the uruk-hai disgust me blech!pfbbt

i'm about to defend somone but i think we can do it once and a while....... i go by the book more than the movie but i can see why aragon said that ... he did give his sword to protect the ring and the way borimir was eye'ing it ..... but any way i love to hate the orcs ... they creep me out!!!
