I LOVE Pippin. I think that he is soo cute and is my fav. He just lightens up the movie and he is sooo cute.

I love all four of them! Merry knows a good deal of things (like about the Old Forest), Pippin is funny, Sam is loyal and down to earth and Frodo is determined. I just love all the hobbits. They make me laugh.

In the book Merry is my fave hobbit. I cant choose between Merry and Pippin in the film, they r v funny. They lighten the atmosphere but they have serious bits too. Nope.... i cant choose:huh:

In the books... hmmmm...Frodo.... :duh:! (jk) hmmm for some reason I think that I adore frodo so much in the movie is because he is always depressed.... I am really sympathetic, my attention usually goes to the one who is suffering... I dunno why... It's always the first thing I take notice to!

Merry, he's my fav character in the book. No, seriously now...i think that merry combines all the good characteristics that the other hobbits have into one AMAZING hobbit....the fact that dom is fit is a bonus...be it very much appreciated!

In the book, it's a tie between Frodo and Sam. they're like salt and pepper... they just go together! But i just love Pippin in the movie! (but dont get me wrong.. i love the other hobbits too! ;) )

In the books Pippin is my favourite, and the movie just kinda confirmed it. I really love the Scottish accent. Boyd is so funny and Pippinish.

I could never choose! Frodo is my number one, in both the book and the film, but then I start to think about Sam... and Merry... and Pippin.... I love them all! :grin:

But Frodo is the one always feel the most attached to, so I guess if I had to choose...

merry is my fave from the books and in the movie. (it does help that in the movie he's played by Dom but that isn't the main reason - pil will back me up on this! :grin: )

Hi! I would have to say that Merry is the best in the book....or Pippin....but in the film Billy Boyd decided it 4 me.He's so cute'n'Scottish and funny! Its sad how he's the 1 always gettin them into trouble tho

From the book, I have to say Sam because his main concern through the whole quest is the wellbeing of his master and best friend, Frodo. Now, from the movie, I MUST say Frodo. He's not only absolutely adorable, but you can see and feel his pain...the burden of the ring. I guess I go for the martyr types too.

From there, favs are Pippin (funny!), Sam, and Merry.
