Okay, it's well into the conversation between Elrond and Gandalf. It's only in two shots, when Elrond in standing infront of the open window, and you can see the background. It's after he gives his little eye witness account of Isildur. You'll see an elf walking around in the background. Tis Legolas. Check again!

The Lip thing is such a major turn on and took me forever to Find that part with Legolas walking around but I found it and even tiny he looks good there's also two other elves back there have you noticed and you guys probably have that when he's climbing that rock to look at what's coming at that place with the "Creiban from Dunland" When he's climbing the rock he looks like he's gonna fall but of course that will never happen

By the way, I like all Legolas scenes. Favourites are:-
1) after the breaking of the Fellowship and Aragorn says 'We are going to hunt some orc'.
2) in Lothlorien when Legolas says '...for me the grief is still too near'.
3)rowing the boat down the River Anduin (when he is looking facing the camera).

In the extended version, I love it when he smiles at Gimli after Gimli told him about receiving Galadriel's gift. Another scene to watch out for is his expression when informing Celeborn and Galadriel about the death of Gandalf when he said '... Balrog of Morgoth' - so very sad.

yeah, but, in that Balrog of Morgoth scene, what's sadder is the expression on gimli's face... because he feels guilty that this wonderful place of his ancestors should have brought death to gandalf... and the lady's expression is wonderful too... and celeborn has been transformed into one of my fav chars by the extended edition :grin:.... anyway... this is a leggy thread... soooo sorry to get ot ;)

Well, considering the TTT just coming up, I'll add to it that that I think the best expression on Legolas's face is when he was smiling in mirth when all that we could see was Gimli's helm in Helm's Deep.

That was seriously funny.

Not to mention when he offered Gimli a box... priceless...

there is so much! i totally love everything he does (god i sound so much like a girl) but that stunt where he whips himself around the front of the horse was AMAZING! all i was thinking was 'could you do that like 20 more times'?

He is so cool about everything. Whether it's taking down orcs while riding a shield down a flight of stairs:archer: , or mourning the loss of friends (like when King Theoden says "Leave the dead." and he gives him those puppy dog eyes)-it makes me want to cry mecry, or when he's teasing Gimli and being absolutely hilarious roflmao !

To narrow it down a little: I liked how defensive he was about Gimli when Eomer threatened to cut off his head. I also liked his "You're late...You look terrible." to Aragorn. Finally, I enjoyed the back-handed smack he used against one of Wormtongue's guards. That was just plain cool.

In other words, if you were to look up amazing in my dictionary, you would find "every scene in LOTR with Legolas."

His smile lights up the screen, but he doesn't do it enough. Loved the shot in SE FOTR when he smiles listening to Gimli talk about his gift, and in TTT when he sees Aragorn again after thinking he is dead. We might have expected a hug there, but his smile said it all.

You seriously need to watch the apendices of the EE of FOTR. The weta guy explains all about their weaopns and Gimli has at LEAST 5 axes more or less!!

Brothers are so annoying. I hate my brother, he's mean and he hits me! and that is pretty immature for a 17 yr old. Infact, just yesterday I was trying to help someone register for war of the ring and he says, "Time to get off the computer!" and I say "Hang on, I'm not finished yet!" and he just strolls over to the computer and turns the tower off!! I was all like "B******!!!" (i didn'y say that, but i thought it) and he ran away from me cuz he knows i'm vicious when i'm mad........then I called for mom and he got in trouble pfbbt

hmm this thread has gotten a bit off topic... with all the drooling we mange to put in other threads where that is off topic, its a bit surprising at all the other stuff we find to talk about where drool is on topic... lol... anyway... i dont think i have posted my fav legolas scene in here.... im not quite sure which one... i like him a lot in fotr but i thought he didnt do so well in ttt... my fav scene i suppose is the one in lothlorien... well he's far less graceful in ttt. he doesn't seem as elven, or move as lightly, or distance himself so well from the events of the earth in ttt. he's more in your face and less just there, hes rougher and less pretty, hes more involved and less a supporting character in ttt.

and all of these are traits i really liked about him in fotr...i know you guys are all glad and stuff that hes more involved and has more lines, but thats not how he was in the book... and i cant think of a better way to do him than they did in fotr...

I have got say that I love the scene where Legolas "transforms" his bow and arrow into a semi-automatic weapon in the fight scene at Amon Hen after the death of Boramir in The Felloship of the Ring. He fires four shots one after another in like 2 seconds. In the extended, he does double that. He is an intriguing character.
