Jes a thought.

I miiiiight be able to hoodwink some hapless hobbit into accepting 13 dwarves for tea and supper.

(It's not like I haven't done it before :o )

...much of my recent days have been spent in Dol Guldur and Moria and, perhaps sadly, this dynamic shows no likely signs of change.

Frankly, I had no specific plan in mind. Though it may seem counter-intuitive, Wizards do tend to work that way more often than one might think. The ideation was born when I saw Eowyn's reports of her summer gathering in England - it seemed like an enjoyable thing to do and I will admit I felt a wee bit left out (hmmm ... sigh ... no emoticon for "sniff").

And so I thought I'd float a trial balloon, as it were, firstly to see if there was any interest and, if so, what folks might feel up to. For my part, I reside in NYC proper. Anyone at all care to pick up the ball and make a "pitch," so to speak?

Peace,

G

White Rider,
Are you attending the Rings Concert at Carnegie Hall? If so or even if not we are planning a North East Tolkien Society meeting/outing post concert--some food, perhaps a drink or two and great comraderie and chat amongst Tolkien fans--Interested? You need not be a member but it always helps :p
Email me at chairman@herenistarion.org for more details or to recieve our newsletter about the outing coming soon
Thanks
Anthony

PS Is that what you had in mind for a pitch?

I wish I could scrape together pennies for anything like that, but I can't. It is unlikely it will happen at all, really. Maybe one day! :)
