The Unluckiest day of my life!

I just started college today and I can honestly say it was one of those days where everything that can go wrong does go wrongverymad

Apart from the constant downpour and all of my stuff getting soaked, it appeared that I wasn't actually on the list. My application confirmation must have got lost in the post so they had to shove me in at the last minute. But it gets worse. I left my results slips in a student advisor office :o and I really need them later this week so I'm going to have to pray that they have not been lost.

Overall this has not been a good day. I also have an throbbing pain in my lower back and right thigh verymad

The first day of school is a complete write-off! It's naturally bound to be bad. Trust me, there are worse things.

Yes, sometimes it seems like the fates are playing practical jokes on you, and picking on you in particular as their personal punching bag. Which, come on, they probably are, I mean, if you were in their position, wouldn't you?

To share in horrors, and in attempt to make you laugh at my expense, I'll tell you a really embarassing story, and something that happened to me which I still consider to be freakishly horrible. These take place on my last holiday, in the Cook Islands. Okay, I've lived my whole life purposly avoiding cockroaches, because they scare me beyond what I can write on this thread, only to finally meet one. Yes, "not bad", think you. "Well," says I. I discovered it crawling through my hair!

Okay, now onto embarassing story which should give you a giggle. I nearly got stranded on a deserted island (no, that is NOT a joke!), and while struggling to get back on the boat, fell on my butt in the water,TWICE, no less! Everyone hung over the boat filming me, all the while laughing hysterically. :blush:

I will not lie, yes things can always get worse, but just laugh it off. Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it.
