We would jsut like to a moment to remember the victims and their families from the attacks in America which took place a year to this day.
People from all over the world died in the attacks. Politics aside I am sure we all mourn the loss of any human life.
May they rest in peace.

moment of silence for those who died, and the heros who gave their lives to help those in need:

Our school is going to have a minute's silence....sometime....one fourty three or something like that. We had a really lovely assembly this morning when we reflected on the events and had a moment to think about those who died and those who are still dealing with the loss. Most of us, even here, know someone who knows someone who died and I think the americans will agree that it's good to know that the horrific events of 9/11 are being remembered all over the world, so that more people can respect the dead, and learn from the past so that we may improve the future of the world.

September 11th can only be classified as a monumental event, an event that no matter how old you get, you will ALWAYS remember exactly where you were and what you were doing when you first herd / saw the events that unfolded a year ago today. The older members here have several such memories from the death / attack of leaders, to the Challanger disaster, to the opening shots of the Gulf War. For our younger members, I only hope that such events are few and far between.
May the Divine Powers watch over us all today, especially the families of those who's lives were taken from them.

i can only echo that hope Orc.....
there are few things in this world that are more horrifying than what one human can do to another....regardless of race, rreligion or creed.....
May the light of the universe cradle those who have lost, and heal the wounds still open....

O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!
*Applaus.*
:shhh: *Whispers* It's 7:12 on Sunday morning were I am, I shouldn't sing quite yet.
