I thought seen as we pretty much know who most people think is hot from the film, we could find out if there are any embarrasing(or not so) crushes we used to have or still have??
So outside of the LOTR world, who do you fancy thats famous??if its now cringeworthy, even better!!!
My most embarrasing one from way back was Jason Donavon!!
I'd like to think i have better taste now!

I just asked bonos-girl if i should tell u guys about nick...and she says yes....so i'm going to.... *pil takes deep breath and clears throat*
There was a guy....his name was nick....he was a year above me.....and he was the reason i lived..... I changed modes of transport (bus to train) just to be near him.....:loveyou:.......i wrote a million letters to give to him but the majority never even left my house i was so nervous.....i was in yr 7 by the way, i know see that i was maddened....i must have been eating something i don't now, cos now i c the REAL nick....i don't wanna know! lol
Anyway....there was one day i wrote a note to my mate loop in lesson about how i was over him and drew a little voodoo nick doll....when the teacher picked up the note and read out SELECT bits to the class....making it sound like i was still fancying him....it was HUMILIATING! verymad mecry I hate that teacher! :battle:

What a mean teacher!! She shouldn't have done that! :battle:
I've had many crushes.. especially in my early teens (wow.. that makes me sound old.. ). But especially this one boy. I used to play ping pong when I was younger, when I was about 11. And this boy did that too. He went to a different school, so I didn't see him much after I quit playing.. but then when I was about 13 I changed school and now he was in the same year as me, but a different class.
I was totally insane for a while.. I used to check his schedule and I wrote that down as well as my own so that I knew when to keep my eyes open for him in the corridors. And I knew when he was in a classroom that could be seen from the corridor, so that I could sit down at a very convinient spot in the corridor during my break time. :)
I memorized his phone number, address and everything.. and I even checked his number in the phone book, so I knew his parents names as well.
I used to write "I love ...." on the walls at school as well (as well as everywhere else) and once I was standing outside a classroom waiting for my next class, and his class (including him) was standing outside the classroom next to mine. Suddenly one of his classmates noticed one of those little things that I had written on the wall and said it out loud (I hadn't written my name or anything).. I just stood there. I knew who had written it, and my best friend new too, but we didn't say anything.. obviously.
I never did say anything. I sort of lost interest after a while.
Jeez.. I was really insane, wasn't I!? Even then. I must have been born insane! :elfeek:

what would be really cool would be if someone you used to fancy was on this bpard and you didn't know.....hmmm....
ok...my embaressing crushes.....there are plenty of them...jonathan ross......that was the worst....bono some people think is embarrasing but i don't so he doesn't count.......i used to fancy this guy called saadat who got the train (i didn't) but i haven't seen him for ages....

I've had some crushes on a few girls in the past. :loveyou:
The first true schoolyard crush I ever had was on a girl named Amy. We were in the 3rd Grade at the time.
I also had this on-going crush also in elementary school on a girl named Jill. I fancied her all throughout the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. Even during the 7th & 8th grade as I recall.

September 12th,2002, 01:47 AM
Bono is kinda sexy in a rocker way.
i had a crush on a lad who's nickname was woolie, and because i didn't want people to know i drew sheep everywhere - but it was pretty obvious and everyone knew and so i got teased for months (still do now and again).
Isn't it funny how everyone has these crushes at school, and you're completed infatuated with that person yet you don't want them to know, ever! why is that??

September 12th,2002, 02:03 AM
My first celebrity crush was Jon Stewart of the Daily Show, no kidding. Then Conan O'Brian, then Jon Stewart again.
I would like to believe I have better taste now: Elijah Wood, Joaquin Phoenix, and Jude Law.

Okay I have a crush on a guy in my school. Last year he was in all of my classes so i got to know him pretty well. He was like the perfect package because he smart, athletic, funny, and wicked cute. I mean was just great. I was too shy to talk to him asnd then i saw him when i went back to school. By the time i decided to ask him to our sadies dance he already had a date so i never got to do it.

Sometime when you have a crush on someone.. it's very difficult to tell them how you feel..i don't think writing a letter would be a good idea.
Other than through friends, any other way to get her/him to notice you?
Daisy Gamgee
September 12th,2002, 05:51 AM
If you're not on speaking terms already start by just smiling at him when you see him around, then start saying hello, etc. Once you get more on speaking terms with him, look to see what he likes - like is he carrying a book, or wearing a football club pin or something, and then start talking to him about that.
oh yeah, I used to fancy Joey from nkotb - i complety forgot that until Elf Angel said about him - how sad:grin:

Celebrity crushes? Oh my.. there's been a few.
I can't even remember the first one.. it was probably some actor. But I've had crushes on Nick and AJ from BSB, Ronan, Shane and Stephen from Boyzone, just about all the guys from Westlife, lots of actors, other popstars etc etc. No serious crushes though.. (apart from Stephen from Boyzone maybe, but then it turned out that he is gay.. oops).

Ooo, all this talk is bringing it all back to me. I had a really bad crush one of my old schools Deputy Head boys cringe. It was at a school disco and one of my friends dared me to dance with him. I was in the second year at the time.
I kind of fell for him, cringe.
You know what was worse though? I rung him up and told him. CRINGE!
It was bad, but thankully it only lasted a week.

thats why I said that the lads didn't mind that she was an absolute cow, and as to hannibal lector in a dress, we've all heard the urban myths about a bloke going home with a "gorgeous" woman only to discover her third leg!! which proves that men don't look past the cleveage;)
