What do you think? RPG,FRP or ACTION?

I wonder what game style would you want most for a Lotr based game?RPG like Diablo II,FRP like NeverwinterNights or a third person action game like Heretic II?

I like a RPG's but not like Diablo I do not like point and click RPG's I do like adventure-action games.

Yeah, Gauntlet Legends is cool!

Personally, I wouldn't mind something along the lines of Baldur's Gate - the prerendered graphics might actually work to it's advantage as they allow for as much detail as the designers want - and Tolkien's world is full of detail! 3D systems like the araura engine (NWN) is cool, but I can't help but feel like it isn't quite as immersive as 2d systems, since the detail in the graphics feels like a downgrade!

i never played baulders gate but my brother's getting it for christmas so hopefully i can play it then!!
don't you think that the dude at the 'fake' end of gauntlet legends is soooo much like sauron.....the mask......y'know
