Howdy Folks!
I'd like to announce that we are opening a couple of positions here at War of the Ring and wanted to go ahead and post this here before I announce this on the main page news. :grin:
I have two staff positions available and am now accepting applications! :cool:
The positions are:
Photo Editor
Responsibilities: Maintenance and upkeep of our Photo and Art Gallery. This includes researching the net for any new images that appear from time to time, capping DVDs, and using these images to populate the various sections. Receiving art submissions from artists around the world, creating new galleries when needed and updating existing artist galleries when new submissions are received.
Qualifications: Must have the time to devote to the position #1. Must be proficient with photo capturing and editing tools such as Photoshop and PowerDVD. Experience with photo gallery scripts such as Coppermine is a plus. A creative mind and a love for Lord of the Rings is also a plus. :p There is tons of work that still needs to be done for all three movies so please only apply if you are really serious.
News Poster
Responsibilities: Locating and publishing news on our site main page. This includes researching the net for the latest news on the cast, crew, events, movies, etc. While the news has died down, there is still plenty going on and we need to keep our main page up to date with all the latest and greatest as it hits the net or comes out in various magazines.
Qualifications: Must have the time to devote to the position #1. This is a very important position on the site and must be taken seriously. Must be proficient in the English language including spelling and grammar. Should be able to devote at least one hour per day for research and posting. Basic HTML skills required. Contacts within the movie industry a defo plus!
