Victoria Holt- what is your opinion?

I just started a book called The Captive by Victoria Holt. This my first book of hers that I am reading and i thought I would get anybody's opinion on Holt as an writer! will i like her? anywho thanx for just reading this post and i would appreciate greatly all input!

I'm not familiar with this author, but I have read the exploits of the brothers Holt in Westward, Expedition, & Outpost, written by Dana Fuller Ross.

I will be in a used book store later today so I may look for some Victoria Holt books.
