Has anyone ever read any of his books? He's a fantasy writer.

I think that I have most of them. I like most of his stuff.
Sometimes he gets a little abstract, but good all the same. The Drenai novels , Rigante and Jon Sannow.. are all good stuff. Liked Knights of Dark renown. ;)

Yes I like the Rigante novels, I wonder if he'll continue this series. I've read a couple of the Drenai novels and they were good though I haven't read Jon Sannow.

novels he jumps around a lot.. so it is quite difficult to keep track!
The drenai novels are great.. try to read them in order.. helps with understanding as a lot of the characters and concepts crop up over again!
His books have been out for quite some time so I take it that if you started with the Rigante.. you have have not been reading him for too long!?

A few months I think, Stormrider was the last Rigante novel I read; a little over a month ago.

more of the earlier stuff... I liked it better!!
He bases a lot of his characters and stories on Celtic legends... Have fun!!

I just read Ironhands daughter while I was on holiday I think that's an early one. I'm lucky actually as where I live the shops don't really sell many good books, David Gemmell's are the few they do stock.
