Cool looking may be.....NOT fit looking! My love is keep hold for hobbiteeees and elves only! Dwarves are cool though! The gimli model is one of my favourite from the fotr sellection. He's got an axe that brakes when u hit it on the mini ring...how cool! But my stoooopid younger brother or nine lost the little piece of axe that falls off....so now gimli's axe is broken before he even begins! :rolleyes:

Akiba, i really suggest reading the books! if you go by the movies only you are missing out on people like Tom Bombadil, the Barrow-wrights, and Glorfindel!(just to name a few) my suggestiong is go on ebay and by the books cheap or go to you library for once! it's quite handy! trust me i work at one! all the people are nice and sweet as can be!

ok, I'm bring this back up because it seems there ARE some dwarf lovers (ok maybe not lovers, but people who like them). So some one should start a dwarf army, it could join Orli's army to destroy anyone who bashes the two unlikly friends. This thread shows that there are some out there who would join. It would have to be of Durin's folk though, cuz they were the only ones friendly with the elves. So c'mon someone lets see a dwarvish army, you could call it the Army of the Dwarrowdelf.

That was my idea, mathew. If the Dwarves and the Elves unite (not to mention Men and Hobbits) no one could stand in our way. We the dwarves would come to the aid of Orli's Army whenever called upon, and the Elves would aid us against the dwrarf bashers. But I'm not gonna start one unless enough people want it (so far I've got two), so PM me if you would like a dwarf army :)

please, may i request that you do not start another army? because last time we got started with all this army business, it went out of hand... there are still some sigs hanging out that are relics of that time... crazy, crazy time... and the admins and mods of this board got together and decided to close the armies expect for the aged ones, ie Orli's and Anti-Leggie's.

...plus... hate to say this, but its more the anti-leggie army that needs help, the Orli army doesnt need a bit ;)

I don't like Dwarves....And I hated Gimli's part in the movie.... From the list I choose Thorin Oakenshield.... He was pretty cool for a dwarf...

Dwarves and Elves are at opposite ends of the spectrum. Dwarves are rugby players (albeit smart ones), while Elves are... ballet dancers.
I actually prefer the Dwarves to the elves, ever since I first read the Hobbit. The movie also helped, since far too much emphasis was put on the Elves, with a total of one Dwarf.
How can you not admire them? Do you realy think that elves would be able to build something like Dwarrowdelf? The Dwarves are great architects, great fighters, great smiths, great in everything but, of course, height. They have good reason to be haughty, whereas the elves...
