Hey ya Folks,
We are in need of a couple of News Editors to research and publish news for WotR.
This position involves gathering news on every facet of Tolkien's work including movies, books, gaming, etc. News sources can be other sites, magazine/newspaper articles, etc. The news is posted via a web browser interface and will appear in the relevant site section or on the main page.
You do not need to be a member of the forum to work on this but it helps.
This is not a "paid" position, but we do offer staff benefits like custom title, avatar, etc. The main reward is being involved with the site at this level, and helping to keep Tolkien fans up to date with the latest and greatest news possible!
If you feel you have a "nose for news, are proficient in the English language, and would like to apply, drop me an email at Illuvatar@warofthering.net with "News Poster Application" in the subject line or send me a private message with the same subject and let me know. Some basic knowledge of HTML is also a plus.
