What are you thankful for?

Thanksgiving is coming up and I thought it would be nice for all of us to share what we're thankful for. Whether you're from the States or not, we're all thankful for something. What about you? Personally, among the many things I'm greatful for, I am thankful for life, my hubby, my mom and my pets. I'm thankful for my job, my ability to write and for the roof over my head :)

My God Who created me.

After a particularly bad year, I find I'm thankful for the time I have to share with family. And, it wouldn't be the same if I didn't have all you lovely people here on the GS!! :grouphug: I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I love all of you.

I am thankful for all of above, and for the all the gifts God has given me. I am thankful for wonderful times and the memories they create. I can't name everything, but I'm thankful for it all. :D

I'm thankful for...
• Eru (otherwise known as Christ)—who gives me life, love, freedom, and joy. veryhappy
• My family—who know me better than any other humans, and love me still. lol
• My friends and mentors—though they are few and far away, I think of them fondly. :)
• My GS friends—:grouphug: who are all such a wonderful encouragement. :grin:
• Those who lay down their lives and those who continue to do so, to serve the noble goals of freedom and justice—may Eru bless you for it.
• My country—though it may drive me nuts. I'm an American, and I won't forget it.
• A good home-education—what would I do without books?
• The arts—they're my passion, and I can't imagine life without dance, writing, film, music, art, poetry and the rest.
• Nature—the beauty of a sunset, the song of a bird and even the freezing cold of an Indiana winter. lol
• The daily needs that Eru provides—a home, food, clothes and the list goes on. :)
