A Board devoted to Ancanar? What say you!
Good Day All forumites,
Myself (IHD) and Fëalossë my co-moderator for the 'Movies' part of WotR have a question for you all. How many of you would be interested in a separate section (board) to discuss and post news on the upcoming Tolkien inspired film "Ancanar"? It's one of the few fantasy films we're likely to see made in the next few years and looks like it'll be a treat, with lots of material us Tolkien lovers will find familiar. Basically the section would be like what we have now for 'the Hobbit'. We, the moderators, feel that it may be worth having a separate board for Ancanar since it is Tolkien related (and this way you won't have to try and find it amongst the many threads in the 'Other Movies' board ). So vote on the poll and let us know what you think! PS: If any of you are wondering just what in the name of Erü Ancanar is anyway, there is a development trailer out that is quite interesting. View it here. If any of you heard about the project a few years ago and saw the original trailer and got turned off (yup it was a bit cheesy) I'd strongly recommend watching the new trailer (the one I've linked to).

Awesome idea. I liked the trailer but I didn't know any of the actors
 Oh well. I would love to see it when it comes out.

Hey this looks cool
I am positively giddy, seeing as I just found out about the Tristan/Isolde movie and now this too! I can't get enough of anything medieval-ish or fantasy...and if this has elves, well, thats just an added bonus! Thanks guys for keeping us all updated!This looks pretty dang sweet, and the thread idea sounds good

Another positive vote, here. I think it's a very good idea, guys
. Ancanar does, indeed, look interesting, and I think a board devoted to it could make for a lot of *new* interesting discussions  .

This is a great idea, that I support 100%---:-) I have been following this project since the very beginning and am involved in numerous ways with its creative team, plus run an Ancanar special on herenistarion.org -- I would love to not only discuss this project--since I really dislike the LOTR films---I also am planning an all Ancanar track at the next Gathering focusing on its linguistics, etc ---plus share with you all the manuscripts we are developing for the film:
