Vivendi LOTR Game Review -- Posted by Melkor on Wednesday, October 16 2002 at 1:59 AM GMT
This is a review from Lisa Shea over at BellaOnline:
"You have simple quests to achieve - get a mill working, find the pigs. You gather up some firecrackers and mushrooms (yum!) and deal with your annoying relatives. In hardly any time at all you've met up with Sam, Merry and Pippin and have left the Shire."
Click here to read more of this great review. Sounds like a fun game, might have to go buy it... (checks wallet)
"The population census which is currently held in Russia has revealed rather unbelievable things: as it turned out, hobbits, elves and skiffs are habitual for Russia, as some of them live in the country. Downtime! -- Posted by Fatty on Monday, October 14 2002 at 8:43 AM GMT
Well as you might have noticed this weekend has been a bit of a disaster for us. First the hosts had trouble with router. Which will cause more problems later today when they swap it. Then our dns got messed up and after instlaling security software we came under persistant attack from spammers and such.. For those not technically minded, we had a bad time :-).
Also please use the email I posted ealier if you need to conact us as the site alias's are also defunct.
Anyway everything should be fine after tomorrow. Then there maybe some other news in respect of the site. Good news I might add.
So sorry for the lack of service but it has been frustrating for us as well. A caffeine filled weekend of endless nightmares ;-)
Can I say a huge thanks to Jeff from RackAid who worked through the night to get us back online. Much thanks Jeff!

Ebay Items, These Are Stunners! -- Posted by Melkor on Sunday, October 13 2002 at 8:15 PM GMT
Every now and then I search eBay for the most interesting items that they have put up. I just realized that I would find the coolest ones if I clicked the "Highest Priced" button, to list the LOTR items that are really expensive. I was blown out of my chair about some of the stuff that they have. Click here to see these INTERESTING eBay Lord of the Rings items.
Note: These are very expensive. I try to find the *interesting* items, not affordable. But if you have a big wallet, then go for it!
