the Ring or its affiliates, subsidiaries or agents maintain

Ring abides by the safe harbor(link) framework as set forth
by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection,
use, and retention of data from the European Union. As well
as the Data Protection Act(link) in the UK where WOTR Ltd
is registered.

When you register, or otherwise give us personal information,
War of the Ring.net will not share that information with third
parties without your permission, other than for the limited
exceptions already listed. It will only be used for the purposes
stated above.

Children's Personal Information
War of the Ring.net is a general audience site and suitable
for all age ranges, although some images may be of a Fantasy
violence nature, so we give the same recommendation as the
Lord of the Rings films we cover, PG 13 . This means we think
the site is suitable for most ages but if your child is under
13 then you should view the content of the site to ensure
you are happy with your child viewing it. The exception is
where parents fill in COPPA consent form in order their children
under 13 can register on the forums. The forums are heavily
moderated to ensure as safe an enviroment as possible.
Protecting Children
War of the Ring is committed to protecting children from
any content inappropriate for them to view or from anything
which their parents do not want them to see. To this end all
our forums are moderated and staff are trained to watch for
any inappropriate behaviour.
The site is aimed at a general audience and has a strict
policy against obscenity, racism, bigotry or sexism. In addition
swearing is strictly prohibited.
We cannot accept any responsiilty for persons accessing parts
of the site against the wishes of their parents where we have
been given false information. If you are concerned about anything
you see on the site please do not hesitate to contact us.

children from inappriate content.
Use of Cookies

computer or is read if the customer has visited the site previously.
