 Angrenost This is a French-language site, but they have a number of images that I haven't seen anywhere else (including quite a number of equestrian ones). There are two other French LOTR/Tolkien site links below: 'Elbakin' and 'Le Seigneur des Anneaux'. |
 Elbakin This is another French-language site. I haven't had a chance to check it out thoroughly, but them seem to have a lot of interesting information. You need to have Quicktime to load the main page completely, as there is music playing - turn on your speakers! I have two other French LOTR site links - 'Angrenost' above and 'Le Seigneur des Anneaux' below. |
 Fantasy Planet (Czech site - currently not responding) Since I don't speak any Czech, I have absolutely no idea where on the home page one would click to get to the 'Lord of the Rings' section, but this site has had some great photo scoops - here is a link to an example, and their main gallery for movie images seems to be here, though I have trouble viewing it (it loads - Document Done - then everything disappears, then it is OK after I do a 'reload' - maybe it just doesn't like Netscape, or at least my old version of Netscape). |

 Herr der Ringe In spite of the fact that is site is in German (which I don't speak!), it is still one of my favorite unofficial LOTR links. Cirdan, the webmaster, speaks excellent English and he provides summary translations of all the articles, responds promptly and politely to emails and even on occasion 'scoops' the people over at 'theonering.net', possibly due to the time difference and/or because he has managed to acquire images that they don't have access to. Definitely a link to check often! |
 Numenor (aka Numenoreen) Note: This site was previously known/available as Le Seigneur Des Anneaux (Bientot au Cinema) This is another good French-language site. That's where I got those three great shots of the orc attack at Amon Hen in Chapter X of Book II (including the neat one of Lurtz). There are two other French LOTR/Tolkien site links above: 'Angrenost' and 'Elbakin'. |
 Sphaerentor (Tolkien) This site is in German, but they have to good taste to feature some of my pictures in their movie photos gallery, together with a link back to my site - everyone should be so nice (even if it isn't quite the RIGHT link, but hopefully they will fix that soon) and they even wrote to Cirdan at Herr-der-Ringe to tell him about my images - thanks Huan Vu! |
