This is the one Ring.  Sauron needs only this ring to cover all the lands in a second darkness... ...He is seeking it, seeking it;  all his thought is bent on it.  They are one, the Ring and the Dark Lord.  Frodo, he must never find it... Alright, we'll put it away.  We'll never speak of it again...
No one knows its here, do they?		Do they, Gandalf?
There is one other who knows... I searched everywhere for the creature Gollum, but the Enemy found him first...   Amid the endless screams and and inane babble they could discern two words...
Shire...		Baggins...
But that is terrible!  That will lead them here...
	Who goes there?
	Bounder confronting the Nazgûl (and it is a fatal encounter)
Take it Gandalf!... You must take it...		Don't... tempt me, Frodo!
	But it cannot stay in the Shire No... no, it can't What must I do?
	You must leave and leave quickly...   I can cut across country easily enough
My dear Frodo.  Hobbits really are amazing creatures.  You can learn all that there is to know about their ways in a month, and yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you... Get Down!
How long, Samwise Gamgee, have you been eavesdropping?		I ain't been droppin' no eaves, Mr. Gandalf, sir, and that's a fact
A little late for trimming the verge, don't you think?	What did you hear?	Don't turn me into anything...unnatural!
No?  I've got a much better idea for you...
